800 gauss ferrite magnets. Accu-Band are the most popular acu-magnets. 24k gold plated 0.09″ x 0.2″ dia magnets with 0.8″ dia adhesive plasters. The bionorth (-) side contacts the body. This bionorth (-) side also features a tiny protrusion at the center of the magnet which provides additional stimulation to the point. Order consists of two packages of 12 magnets. Please note: The plasters used contain trace amounts of latex.
This is not a massage tool. Please read the instructions fully before using as there are some contra-indications for use, and it is possible to overuse this tool, generating irritation and inflammation of soft tissues. If used properly, it can greatly increase healing, and can break up areas of dense tissue that are limiting soft tissue function. It is only effective if used in conjunction with a conductive gel to pass the pressure waves across the air gap between the unit and the skin. There are many specific products for this purpose, however I usually use some form of skin lotion, which seems to work just fine.
Ultrasound is a type of sound that has wavelengths above our range of hearing. These wavelengths are shorter than the sound waves which we hear and in the range that this tool operates the length of the waves is .34 mm or shorter. This is getting close to the width of a hair. Sound is pressure, and these short wavelengths generate pressure differentials in cellular tissue that assist fluid flow into and out of the tissue and even across cellular membranes, assisting in the elimination of wastes and enervating the tissue with nutrients. As the unit pushes and pulls the tissues, it will generate heat. This heating is deep within the cellular matrix and has therapeutic potential if properly employed (see section on use).
Contra-indications: This unit should not be used where the tissue matrix should not be compromised. Therefore it should be avoided when dealing with malignant tissue. It should be used very conservatively, especially on tissues dealing with active inflammation, as it will easily exacerbate inflammation. It should not be used on any one spot for more than a few minutes, as it will irritate any tissue if it is overused. Please follow all other contra-indications and cautions in the enclosed instructions for use.
Use: Determine where the unit is to be used. The high setting is for deep tissue, such as the interior of the knee or hip joint. The lowest setting is for the skin. Set the intensity and duration and turn on the unit. Apply the conductive gel to the metal head and hold the unit on bare skin at the spot where you intend healing. Do not move the head around as this will dissipate the accumulation of heat in the tissue. If you are working with soft tissue, after several minutes, when the tissue is warm / hot, spread or stretch the tissues (in the direction of the muscle fibers if known) and hold in the stretched position for a moment while the tissue cools. Then move onto the next spot. If you are working into a joint, move the limb slowly through its range of motion and then repeat from another angle. I recommend not using the unit more than twice a day on a specific spot. Drinking water helps to eliminate toxins released by this unit from the body. After practicing with this unit for a while, you should be able to quickly manage minor aches and pains.
|Here is an inexpensive portable ultrasound unit which I can recommend.
Ultrasound is very effective at improving circulations and speeding up the healing process. If used in conjunction with Manual Therapy it can help to re-balance muscle tone.

|To re-organize connective tissue, use this unit for a few minutes on a tight area of muscle, and then when the muscle has warmed up, stretch and hold while the connective tissue cools down. Do not treat more than twice a day. Always use conductive gel.
To facilitate healing and improve circulation, slowly move this unit over the affected area for a predetermined length of time, usually 5-10 minutes. You can massage the tissue to improve circulation. Drink plenty of water. Do not treat a specific area more than 2 times a day. Always use conductive gel.
I am excited to be able to recommend a line of Herbal Tinctures that originate from the region around Mt Shasta, CA. This region has a particularly high vibrational resonance that most people will comment on after spending a little time there. This vibrational resonance is captured in the plants, and herbal tinctures made from these plants, in my experience, have exceptional healing qualities.
Wise Mountain Botanicals offers a line of compound and single herb extracts which I find very potent, fresh and crafted with loving care. Additionally they capture the enlivening and enlightening qualities of the Mt. Shasta area. I am currently making available the compound extracts for remedy testing in my sessions. If I find an extract that tests positive, I will direct you to this page, where you can navigate to the compound extract offerings here:
I believe that you will be very pleased with the results of adding these single herb or compound extracts to your healing or maintenance protocol.
|Greenpath Supplements Chlorella:
This is a brand of Chlorella that my wife and I have used for many years and find very beneficial.
Chlorella should not be taken with other supplements because of its ability to bind minerals. It can be taken with or without food. For people fortifying their digestion, assimilation and elimination of food, the best strategy is HCL before meals, all other supplements with meals and Chlorella after the meal.
This is the reference for many of the Reflex Repatterning exercises used by Masgutova Method Core Specialists. Although quite obtuse, at times bordering on intractable, it is a valuable addition to any Manual Therapist reference library and of some help for parents looking for developmental exercises for their children. It is a milestone publication in the emergence of elementary sensory/motor skill therapy.
It is best viewed as a collection of individual exercises with comprehensive descriptions, than as a discussion of reflex function in relation to the whole person. Although the underlying system works and has successfully completed a clinical trial in the United States*, the theoretical model as presented is incomplete and in my opinion, overreaches. Although this detracts from the overall value of the book, the exercises as presented are extremely valuable in their own right.

With over a half million copies in print since 1973, John Thie’s TOUCH FOR HEALTH phenomenon has flourished worldwide to help more than 10 million people in over 40 countries restore their natural healing energies and enjoy vibrant health through his unique treatment of posture and muscle balancing that combines simple aspects of acupressure touch and massage. From this book, you will learn the techniques that chiropractors, alternative health specialists, athletic trainers, and massage therapists have found invaluable in preventive health-care treatment.
These techniques are distilled from the vast body of Eastern and Osteopathic techniques that Dr. George Goodheart refined into the practice of Applied Kinesiology. The techniques are known to be safe for anyone to practice, are essentially easy to learn and offer many years of discovery of their more subtle aspects.
NOTE ON THE TABS:
The middle section of the manual, from pages 95 to 229 is a reference section for the TFH material designed for ease of access. This includes tabs for each of the 14 meridians covered. Due to cost constraints the tabs were not cut out at press time, and I highly recommend taking the time (approximately 90 minutes) to go though this section with scissors and cut out the tabs. This will greatly speed up the process of getting at the specific material you need, when you need it.
