What is the correct alignment for the structure of the human body in the gravity field?
It is helpful to use the landmarks indicated in the graphic below to find this alignment, which is the most efficient for our structure. When our bodies are aligned in this way, our muscles don’t have to “hold up” our bodies, and instead of being constantly active, can fire to make quick adjustments to our posture. These quick adjustments use much less energy, and have much less strain and compression on our structure. These quick actions can be modeled by the action of the thrusters on a rocket making minor course corrections while the force of its main engines, modeled by our bony structure, push through the force of gravity.
