In addition to specific stretches or other exercises, I often recommend this book series authored by Robin McKenzie:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mckenziemethod.com\/product-category\/books\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>https:\/\/mckenziemethod.com\/product-category\/books\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These books are both specific to a recovery profile and general in their scope. They are efficient and succinct and just scrolling the book will offer ideas for something helpful to do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick the body part you want to work with and get the book. <br \/>In the United States, I think that the best way to buy these is on Amazon: <br \/>I.E: <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3HAeEJw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>Treat Your Own Back<\/strong><\/a><br \/>I find them excellent value at the price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>NB: Robin McKenize teaches a model of Physiology I no longer support due to my study of gait dynamics (as discussed in this blog) and the work of the authors in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brianesty.com\/bodywork\/2024\/01\/book-recommendations\/\" title=\"\">Book Recommendations<\/a><\/strong> post. I do not think that he is wrong, rather that his model is less complete than the current findings infer. This in no way invalidates his writings, especially his exercise recommendations.
