Neuromotor Assessments

Assessing how fully our developmental, postural, and dynamic reflex loops have matured isn’t always straightforward. When these circuits lag, the effects show up in how we move, process sensations, behave, think, and even in our posture. The good news is that targeted therapies—specific activities, exercises, and sensory work—can keep these reflexes moving toward full maturity at any age.

On this website are two assessment tools, a one-shot question/answer chatbot, and a detailed, comprehensive assessment survey:

Reflex/Behavior/Symptom Chatbot
This is a fine-tuned OpenAI 4o model that you can ask any question about your neuromotor state(physical, movement, sensory processing, behavioral, and cognitive), and it will kick out exercises and activities to support further maturation.

REFLEX/BEHAVIOR/SYMPTOM CHATBOT

Neuromotor Assessment
This survey comprises approximately 120 questions and requires about 20 minutes to complete. It evaluates the relative maturity of five neuromotor layers—Gut-Brain, Spinal Reflexes, Brain Stem, Mid-Brain, and Neo-Cortex. Upon completion, you will receive a detailed profile that highlights which layer(s) warrant the greatest therapeutic attention, together with recommended exercises and interventions suitable for clinicians and clients.

Reflex/Behavior Correlations by Research

There is easily 100 years of published research on the relationship between reflex development and developmental challenges. This is a snippet of the recent research tied to published papers.
